South Little League was established as a 501c3 non-profit organization in 1965, serving 104 youth and their families at that time. After a generous land donation from the Krites family, South Little League relocated from their original location at an elementary school to Clemmonsville Road, situated in the South Ward of Winston-Salem, NC in 1971. “Little League believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities.” (www.littleleague.org). Our goal is to continue to offer a quality program for a diverse population of children and families for generations to come. We aim to develop character and courage while also teaching discipline, teamwork, and physical wellness in a safe and fun environment.
